20th April 2004 - James: Movies

Well it's coming to that point of the year where the big movies start coming out. Aside from The Day After Tomorrow which is released on my birthday (which is nice, a movie about the destruction of the world on my birthday), let's take a look at the good and the bad of what's on it's way from Hollywood.

Here.

Oh, and to appease William:

You should know what that is...

17th April 2004 - Louis; My current addictions

My biggest addiction at the moment - Milk. I'm not kidding. I just can't get enough of that white creamy ..uhm...liquid...and to think, i've not been properly drinking milk since I was like...6. Milk is soooo good.
Second addiction - Legend of the Green Dragon, role playing game. Endless hours of fun.

Quote of the century
"Well I think that there are bands that make whole industries out of copying their hit, and you listen to back to their record and they're utter complete frauds, they become karaoke artists of themselves. The basic impulse of Third Eye Blind is to do things that are exciting to us, and repetition is not particularly exciting.

Except in masturbation. Which is repeatedly exciting, every time" - Steven Jenkins, Third Eye Blind

17th April 2004 - James: Quickie

I wonder if you've seen Donnie Darko. If you have, read this, if not then DON'T, go watch it, and then read it. It's not funny at all, but a couple of people have been asking me questions about the movie, and so I've decided to answer them all here.

16th April 2004 - James: Something's Gotta Give

Well, as per usualy may attempt to go to sleep early and get a good night's sleep has been stifled by my insomnia, so here I am at 3:30 in the morning watching a movie. It's shit by the way, but hey you don't need me to tell you that, just watch the trailer...

Something's Gotta Give: It's bad...It's Cat in the Hat bad.

*I would say it had spoilers, but if you can't already predict the plot of this one within the first ten minutes then you probably can't even read the world "spoilers".

PS. Has anyone seen "Walking Tall" yet? Shit if that new actress, I think her name is Ashley Scott - she's the one that gets it on with The Rock - isn't the hottest thing in the cinema right now...I mean she doesn't have the Scarlett appeal that I like, but let's fact it she's just so fucking hot it's unbelievable.

UPDATE:

Oh my god I KNEW I'd seen that face before and thought she was hot - she's the girl in S.W.A.T. who leaves Collin Farrel at the start. She is most definitely girl of the moment.

By the way, Walking Tall albeit running for only 1:15 minutes, is a pretty good watch.

NOTE: Since the website i stole those pictures from didn't insult my intelligence by trying to protect their images with gay and easily beatable html code (like the Scarlett Johansson one did), I'll be nice and add a link back to ashleyscotthaven.com

COME ON LEEDS UNITED!!~!!!!!! IT's ONLY ARSENAL AWAY FROM HOME!!

15th April 2004 - Louis; receives Academic Excellence Award

I wish I was kidding. Me? Academic Excellence in University? This here proves that the world is in fact, fucked up.
In light of my brilliance, Richmond University decided to award me with an even higher scholarship. I'm tempted to write a letter back saying "You'd have to pay me, for me to stay in this shithole"

The award ceremony was most interesting and is worth a read. Especially because I showed up with clothes that didn't match, an hour late and didn't know a single soul there. Well..maybe one.

New shit journal, I call it The Toilet Commandment
