well, the mac’s display could actually be worth the extra $2000
it is the best display ever on a laptop. i have a 15″ one, but didn’t know how good the display was when i actually bought it. sure, some random vertical lines started showing up after 3 months, but that’s the other side of the story. however, i would never buy a Vista machine, unless i would actually get it for free :p Windows is fucked up, way more than the Mac is.

Don’t like Vista? Fine. Go buy Mac OSX ($300?) and install it on the HP. Piece of cake. Still $1700 cheaper for the SAME SPEC.
